Our fabrics are woven on:

High speed Dornier Rapier weaving machines - 140cm to 180cm width - with a cut selvage.

OR

Antique 19th Century Shuttle Looms 30cm to 85cm width. These looms are power driven and give a true selvage, ideal for shawls, scarves, table runners etc. or whenever a turned hem is not desirable.

All weaving machines / looms are fitted with a dobby which allows geometrical patterns, woven checks, stripes and hundreds of other combinations.

The fabrics are "wet" finished and preshrunk. Expect between 3-5% shrinkage after a 40' C machine wash.

All dyes used are the best available and comply with current environmental legislation.
