Mungo in Stellenbosch
Stellenbosch town is a vibrant blend of history, culture, and natural beauty in the centre of South Africa’s wine country. Here you’ll find a lively student scene, top local restaurants, and art galleries.
Situated in a heritage building at the end of Ryneveld Street, our newest store opened its doors earlier this year. A leisurely walk down Ryneveld Street captures the essence of Stellenbosch, featuring the Stellenbosch University Museum, fine art galleries, bustling coffee shops, and the popular Warenmarkt eatery. You’ll find us next to The Pottery, a popular spot to enjoy a day of creative ceramic painting and socialising.

At Mungo Stellenbosch you’ll find our full range of natural fibre homeware textiles – from everyday classics to contemporary additions for bath, bed, kitchen, and table. Learn more about our range, including our GOTS-organic cotton towels and baby blankets and the historic techniques and tools behind them by chatting with one of our knowledgeable retail assistants.
While you’re in the area, enjoy a meal at one of Stellenbosch’s gourmet restaurants and take a gentle stroll through the oldest botanical garden in South Africa, around the corner from our shop.
We hope to see you there.
