The Woolsey Blanket

In the next few months you can look out for the The Woolsey Blanket. If you have even the vaguest interest in cloth, this blanket will impress you! This new and genius creation from Mungo has a pretty amazing feature.

The Woolsey is a cotton blanket that has a machine washable woollen Hercasett floater thread. The wool content gives it added bulk and warmth to create a truly unique blanket. Basically, it’s like having three blankets in one. The wool portion of the blanket is ‘sandwiched’ between the two cotton portions, giving you the warmth of the wool, but the feel of the cotton. It’s perfect for those who don’t typically use wool because they find it itchy.
