We all know that a stuffed animal can be so much more than a toy. Beyond cuddleability, it can become a symbol comfort and security – fundamental human needs which the Toy Project provides women in Wittedrift community, just outside Plettenberg Bay.
The Toy Project was set up as a social enterprise, offering skills development and income to women in rural communities. We donate offcuts from our mill and then buy back the finished toys to sell in our shops.
This collection of stuffed savanna animals each has its own quirky personality and character. Made with our 100% Kamma linen in marigold, moon grey and flax.
