Soft, warm and subtly lustrous.
Woven with Mohair, Silk and Bamboo.
The Elements
The MOS Wrap is greater than the sum of its parts. Carefully chosen. Slowly woven. Here’s what makes it what it is:
- Warp – Bamboo: Strong, soft, and drapes like a dream.
- Weft – Kid Mohair & Silk: Colour and warmth meet soft shimmer.
- Palette: Dusty lilac, forest green, cobalt, a flash of gold, a hint of berry. Whimsical, but grown-up.
- Weave – Herringbone: A classic. Subtle, timeless, and made to last.
- The Loom – Hattersley: A relic of the cottage industry, still earning its keep in our mill. Each wrap is the work of a single weaver – hands-on, start to finish.
South African Mohair
The MOS Wrap is woven with mohair that’s sourced and spun in South Africa – one of the world’s leading producers of this rare and remarkable fibre. Prized for its softness, strength and gentle natural lustre, South African mohair is considered among the finest in the world.
Woven on our Hattersley Loom
Over a century old, our Hattersley is a Yorkshire-born workhorse from the cottage industry era – still earning its keep in our Mill today.
We love our Hattersley loom for its character. It’s entirely hands-on, requiring a single dedicated weaver to guide every step. With the MOS Wrap, the weaver becomes part-designer too, shaping how each colour block falls.
Please note:
You might spot a slight variance here and there.
That’s the loom talking. That’s the mark of the person who loaded the shuttle.
Factory perfection is easy. Character isn’t.
Wash and Care
Due to the delicate nature of the fibres, these wraps must be handled with care to preserve their beauty and integrity.

From the Blog
Last year we wove a small run of mohair, bamboo and silk wraps on our century-old Hattersley loom. They sold out in days. Blink and they were gone.
