We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Retail & Sales Assistant to join our team at our 44 Stanley store in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in textiles and interior design, with experience in sales and customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent in-store sales service. This will include learning in-depth product knowledge to help understand customers’ needs and advise on products.
– Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
– Manage point-of-sale processes and customer relations.
– Maintain stock levels.
– Be an expert on the Mungo story and brand.
– Report to store manager daily with customer insights.

REQUIREMENTS
– Strong customer and sales focus.
– Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
– Confidence in dealing with customers and sharing your extensive product knowledge.
– Be a team player!
– Positive, outgoing, energetic.
– A keen interest in interior design and textiles.
– Innovative with visual merchandising.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
– Matric
– Relevant qualification
– Experience working in a sales position
– Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
– Drivers licence
