We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Associate to join our Wholesale team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the textiles/homeware/soft furnishing industry and be able to manage key customer accounts within the hospitality and corporate gifting markets, while also being able to process orders and provide support for export activities and tradeshows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

– Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the hospitality and corporate gifting sectors.
– Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
– Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities, generating new sales leads and signing new clients.
– Assist with processing of orders and coordination of special requests.
– Assist with export processes, including coordination with logistics and compliance with international trade requirements.
– Support the planning and execution of tradeshows, representing the Mungo brand and showcasing products.
– Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs and deliver on sales targets.
– Provide market insights and feedback to inform product development and sales strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

– Previous experience and proven track record in sales and/or account management, ideally within the textiles, homeware or soft furnishings industry.
– Strong understanding of the hospitality and corporate gifting markets (preferred).
– Excellent customer relationship management skills.
– Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) is a must, and experience with ERP (enterprise resource software) is a plus.
– Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
– A positive and energetic team player with ability to multitask and support export logistics and trade show preparations.
– Willingness to travel within South Africa and potentially overseas.
– Excellent administrative skills.
– Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
– Valid driver’s license.
