Woven on our mid-century Saurer Loom – a mechanical workhorse from the 1950s, kept running by a small team of skilled technicians who still know its language. The kind of loom that works with punch cards instead of touchscreens. Slow, steady weaving that leaves its own character in the cloth.
The Blocks Blanket is woven with 100% cotton in a double cloth construction, giving it extra warmth and weight, with a miniature waffle weave that adds softness and a subtle, tactile texture. Finished with a true selvedge (a self-finished edge unique to shuttle loom weaving).
Playful in design, it’s striped on one side and checkered on the other – two patterns in one.
